Guadalajara, Jalisco, June 27, 2020 - Atlas FC has signed Argentine midfielder Ignacio Malcorra as a reinforcement to the squad as it finalizes preparations for a new season in Liga MX.
Malcorra joins the team from Pumas, having shown that he's productive in the midfield and on the wings with good offensive projection and intelligence on the ball.

Víctor Ignacio Malcorra is originally from Río Negro, Argentina and was born on July 24, 1987. He began his professional career began with CAI Comodoro Rivadavia in 2011, where he remained for three seasons and amassed more than 80 games.
He later signed for Aldosivi where he established himself as an undisputed starter upon arrival, reaching the 100-game mark and beyond.
From there, he joined the ranks of Unión de Santa Fe in 2014 where he and his team were promoted to the Super League for the following year. He contributed 15 goals scored and became recognized as one of the most valuable member on his squad.
His quality caught the attention of Club Tijuana, where he made his Mexican league debut in the 2016 Apertura, accumulating 72 games while helping the team qualify for three separate Liguillas, reaching the semifinals in the 2017 Clausura.
The following tournament, Pumas UNAM signed him and made him a regular starter, where he replicated his fine performance and again helped the team to the semifinals of that same tournament. A year later, Ignacio would lead the center left and assist categories in the Apertura tournament, with 86 and 6, respectively.
